Club Facility

Caldicot Town Football club is situated in the heart of the town where the club house boasts a fully licensed bar serving a good choice of draught beers and spirits, and is split between the main function room and the lounge named after former first team manager, Mike Johnson. Each room has toilet facilities for both male and females with a baby changing facility in the female toilets in the main room.

The rooms are available to book for an event but you must be a member of the club. A bond of £100 is required to cover any potential damages to complete the booking. The bond is returnable should the hired room be left in the expected state. To enquire about booking the venue, visit the Contact Us page and fill in the web form, or pop in and speak to one of the Bar Staff. The room booking form can be accessed and printed off to take to the club if preferred.

*Note
- During the football season, the main room will only be accessible for setup from 6.30pm at the earliest.

Providing catering at a football club is important and so the club has invested in a new kitchen (Awaiting hygiene rating) during 2024 where matchday food can be served to the visiting teams as well as travelling supporters as well as our own members during match days. Scroll down this page to see whats on offer at the "Corner Cafe".

If you like your entertainment but prefer to stay inside, then we have you covered. Between both rooms, the club has five TV's showing all the latest sports including both Sky Sports and TNT Sports. There is also a Jukebox, Pool Table and Dartboard with LED surround and Electronic Scorer for those like me who can't subtract!

If the weather is nice, why not sit out and enjoy the British summer on the patio near the front of the club, or the top tier patio that overlooks the main pitch. Ongoing projects will see improvements to the patio area that will make accessibility easier for disabled visitors and also pushchairs.

As we are a "Football Club", I best mention the fact that we have attached to the club house, four Players Changing rooms, two separate shower rooms for the players, a Referees changing facility that can cater for male and female officials simultaneously. Outside we see the entrance to the "Dai Coles" gates leading to the main pitch, played on by our senior men's first and reserve teams as well as our Ladies team. Further on is our second pitch used primarily by our East Gwent side and youth teams for both boys & girls.

The Bar

The football club bar has a full range of Molson Coors products as well as a good range of wines and spirits.

Outside the club

The clubs exterior is in the process of being renovated (Funds allowing) with us having installed the new boundary wall back in November 2023. New Railings and now gates fitted in 2024 that gives the club a more aesthetically  pleasing look on the eye to members and visitors.

More improvements are in planning with the renewal of the patio areas which we know are in much need of a facelift.

A big thank you to the Caldicot Town Council who have donated a special composite bench for our outside patio that allows for wheelchair access.

Caldicot Town goes Green

The club is always looking at ways of becoming more sustainable and ensuring we can do "Our bit" to help the environment. Thanks to a grant from Sport Wales, the club have now installed Solar Panels onto the roof of the club that will harvest batteries that allows the club to provide power to the cellar which runs 24 x 7 operation amongst many other appliances that draw power. The true return on investment will be realised over time as our electricity bills will reduce over time with the possibility of feeding power back into the grid for further savings.

Caldicot Town Football Club would like to thank Sport Wales for the grant and the install team from Redbridge & Sons who did a superb job
