CIL-Y-COED CELTS

A Brief History

The Cil-y-coed Celts badge reflects the early days at Caldicot Town AFC where the badge still retains the Castle and Swan but unlike the modern badge, this one shows the lion representing the King George V playing fields where the club still play.
You can still see the original Lions on the stone wall pillars as you enter the fields towards the Bowling green and Park.
The original Colours worn by Caldicot Town AFC were a White Shirt with Black Collar, Black Shorts and Black socks. These colours will be worn by the Cil-y-coed Celts for the new season.
Caldicot or the Welsh version Cil-y-coed have formed a Veterans team that will play in the Bristol Casual League starting the 2010/11 season.
The Cil-y-coed Celts will be playing their league & cup home matches at Caldicot Town AFC ground and will be included as
one of the clubs senior teams.
